The MR Research Center at the UPMC Health System is dedicated to the development and application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) for medical and biological research and is forging new paths in the use of functional MRI to study cognitive, sensory, and motor function in the brain. Participation of all interested investigators in the local research community is encouraged and currently includes the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.
